Small purse made of four shield-shaped panels. The edges are bound with laid silver-gilt thread and yellow silk in ladder stitch. A double drawstring of plaited pink silk runs through the top edge and is decorated with four knob-tassels of silver-gilt thread, worked in buttonhole stitch over a wooden core and finished with loops of silk and metal thread and tufts of silk lined with pale cream silk. Two panels are decorated with berried plants rising from mounds, one with a house and small sprigs and the fourth with a stag on a mound with floral sprigs.
