A small purse made from two halves of a walnut shell, covered with pink silk and the two sections joined by silk gussets with a drawstring top. The silk is edged with silver thread in buttonhole stitch. The drawstring and loop-handle are of plaited pink silk and silver thread. Outsides of the shells covered with pink silk worked in detached buttonhole stitches over laid silver thread. On top are sewn roundels of coiled silver thread held together with coloured silks and originally decorated in the centers with seed pearls and coral beads.
