A stone sculpture of four mother goddesses.
The four Matres are seated upon a plain bench, each with a low coiffeur and amply clad in a long tunic with mantle over. The first, on the left holds a large round object in her right hand and a bunch of grapes in her lap. There is possibly another item in her left hand. The second is a nutrix, so nurses a baby; the third has a dog in her lap and rests her left hand on the right shoulder of the final goddess who has a basket of fruit on her lap. Below the group is a recessed panel, evidently prepared for an inscription which was never carved.
On the sides of the relief there are panels of stylized acanthus and on the upper part of the back face is the curtain hanging in two festoons. Below that the stone is cut away to allow the relief to be affixed to a stand.
