Almost complete Peterborough ware bowl, Mortlake type. The bowl has a hollow neck and an almost flat bottom. It is decorated with bird-bone and fingertip impressions. This bowl is part of a group of ceramic pots and bowls that were found during archaeological excavations at 'Caesar's Camp', Heathrow in 1944 by Professor W. F. Grimes.
